WIN workshop: Step by Step: Mastering the Next Stage of Your Doctorate

Whether you're just starting out or already deep into your doctorate - staying focused and making steady progress can be challenging without a clear plan. This workshop helps you (re)gain focus and structure by developing a clear roadmap for your next milestone. You'll work with practical self-management tools, apply them directly to your own project, and strengthen your ability to navigate your doctoral journey with confidence and clarity.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• clarify what drives them to pursue a doctorate and use this awareness as a source of motivation
• set a realistic goal for the next stage of their doctoral project
• break this goal down into achievable milestones, plan them over time, and define specific tasks
• recognize what might help or hinder their progress and include these factors in their planning
• develop a plan for overcoming common obstacles and staying on track
