The Graduate Research Academy RNA Biology organizes a method course for PhD students with the aim to provide the participants with an introduction to the current state of RNA sequencing data analyses. Methods and applications will be presented by internationally renowned guest speakers in the mornings and hands-on training on the latest computational approaches will follow in the afternoons. In addition to the scientific excellence of the invited speakers the practical course builds on a strong local methodological expertise of the bioinformatics research field.
The course was developed for PhD students with a background in biology and related fields. Preference will be given to PhD students who are applying or planning to apply high throughput sequencing technologies and bioinformatics methods in their research.
The method course "Analysis of NextGen RNA-Seq data for expression profiling and protein-binding RNAs" will take place from 10-14 October 2016 at the University of Regensburg. Course attendance is free. The registration is open until 13 July 2016.
For more information on the course and for the registration please visit the website of the Graduate Research Academy RNA Biology.
