Thomas Fouqueau (Project A3/ Title of thesis: „Function of the trigger loop in distinct steps of the transcription cycle”) and Philipp Merkl (Project A1/ Title of thesis: "Comparative studies on elongation and termination of the three RNA polymerases from S. cerevisiae in vitro) successfully defended their PhD thesis in November 2013.
